The Milk Carton Paper Sumo Association, originating in Hokkaido, promotes regional and intergenerational exchange through paper sumo. Four times a year, they hold a nine-day tournament where unique and talented sumo wrestlers from various regions gather to compete for the title of Yokozuna (grand champion).
Our goal is to hold the "Paper Sumo World Cup using milk cartons at Ryogoku Kokugikan!"

Since 2009, we have been hosting a unique event in Hokkaido: Paper Sumo using milk cartons. Regional champion wrestlers from all over Japan gather for a nine-day tournament, all vying for the coveted title of Yokozuna.
